SUMMARY:Focus on Collective Marks! a USDF Continuing Education Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Indiana Dressage Society is proud to present the USDF Continuing Education webinar Focus on Collective Marks! presented by Sue Kolstad. \nThis webinar is focused on the Collective Marks found at the end of all USEF National Dressage Tests. The Collective Marks should reflect the entire test and are a summary of the performance of horse and rider. The average of all collective marks should be in the same range as the average of all marks for the execution of the movements of test. The webinar is designed to give you a better understanding of how the judge derives the collective mark scores and how they relate to the marks achieved for the test movements. \nUpon completion of the webinar\, USDF L Graduates and L Candidates will receive Continuing Educational credits. Others will receive USDF University Credit. \nAbout Sue Kolstad\nSue has been a horse professional for over 50 years and a Dressage Judge for 40 of those years. She has trained and competed several horses at the Grand Prix level and coached many students to their Bronze\, Silver and Gold medals. Sue’s home base is Kentucky but she calls Florida home during the winter. As a USEF “S” Dressage Judge\, Sue travels extensively across the country judging and giving clinics. As a former teacher\, competitor\, and trainer\, Sue uses her classical training to help students and competitors understand the training fundamentals and how they impact their test scores. \nResister to Attend\nThis IDS Webinar will be held on August 12\, 2024\, at 8:00pm (East Coast Time). The program is free for all USDF GMO and PM members\, not just IDS members. \nPlease contact Ken Levy with any questions. \n
