DESCRIPTION:Please join us for an IDS clinic hosting Ulf Wadeborn at Ellen Smitson’s Fishback Creek Farm in Zionsville\, IN from April 18-19\, 2026. \nUlf Wadeborn is a native of Sweden with an extensive equestrian career. Ulf originally came to California on vacation with friend and longtime trainer Bo Tibblin and longtime friend and associate Maria Torwald. What was supposed to be vacation turned into a partnership offer by Lars. With a background in jumping and dressage\, Ulf was educated at Strömsholm\, the Swedish National Riding School\, and has worked with Bo Tibblin\, the former head of dressage training. \nPrior to him coming to the United States\, Ulf worked for Strömsholm\, in the capacity as Head of Stable Management\, and more recently as a riding and training consultant for the Swedish Equestrian Federation. Besides competing in both jumping and dressage competitions\, Ulf is a certified ‘R’ rated judge within Sweden\, and he has been awarded his ‘S’ USEF judging license in the United States. Ulf is a board member of SWANA (Swedish Warmblood Association North America) and he has also become a breeding judge within Sweden. DESCRIPTION:IDS will be hosting Cindy Butler at Randy McStoots’ RM Elite Equine\, LLC on April 11 and 12\, 2026. Stabling is available. \nCindy Butler of Caseyville\, IL is the current president of Western Dressage Association of America (WDAA). She holds multiple judges cards including a R western dressage card. She also works as an instructor in the WDAA Group Apprentice Judges Program and the WDAA Judges seminar and serves on many of the WDAA’s committees. She is also the recipient of the 2025 Pegasus Medal of Honor that was presented during the US Equestrian Pegasus awards in January. This award recognizes individuals whose dedication\, leadership\, and lifelong service have shaped the landscape of equestrian sport. Honoring those who elevate our community\, our athletes and our future. \nSelection will be based on the information provided in the application regarding competition history for the horse and rider combination\, IDS membership and availability. SUMMARY:IDS Adult Camp
DESCRIPTION:Indiana Dressage Society Presents: Adult Dressage Camp October 4th\, 5th and 6th 2024 \nWant to immerse yourself in a weekend of fun\, education\, friends and most importantly Dressage? Then plan to join us for the IDS Adult Dressage Camp to be held October 4th-6th at the Hoosier Horse Park. We will host up to 18 adult riders (must be 18+) for a weekend of instruction\, lectures\, friendship and horses! \nApply To Ride or Sign Up To Audit\nRegistration will open in May and will be first-come-first-served with preference given to current IDS/USDF members. If the Camp is over subscribed\, there will be a lottery to determine who is selected to ride. \nThis camp is appropriate for riders from Training to 4th Level. \nA deposit of $200 will be required at registration (and will be refunded for those who are not selected in the case of a lottery) and a wait list will be started once we have 18 riders. The balance of fees will be due 30 days before the start of camp (September 4\, 2024) \nAs is customary in a clinic situation\, if you are selected to ride and then have to cancel your refund will be determined by whether or not your spot can be filled. \nHorse or rider injury (or illness) that eliminates the ability to participate in the camp program: Rider must submit medical proof of either the rider’s or horse’s injury/illness prior to the date balance is due. In this case the deposit is forfeit\, but the team will not be liable for the remainder of the balance and the spot will be offered to individuals on the waiting list. \nIf the rider cancels after paying the balance of $600\, and another rider is available to take the spot\, the rider will receive a refund minus a $25 office fee. If no rider is available to take the place of the injured or sick team\, a refund of $400 will be provided. \nThe fee schedule for Camp is as follows:\n$800.00\n2 lessons each day given by USDF Certified Instructors\nAll meals\nDaily lectures at lunch and during the evenings\nStabling for the weekend\nFun activities such as trail rides\, and even story time\nCamper spaces will be available for anyone who wants to stay on grounds in their trailers (or tents if you are tough!) $30 per night. \nLodging:\nWe will also be reserving hotel rooms (location TBD) somewhere near the horse park for those who need them.\nAccommodations will be paid for individually by campers and we would encourage folks to consider sharing rooms and or trailers where you can! \nArrival:\nCampers will move in on Thursday October 3rd and enjoy a Meet and Greet Social gathering. She is the author of a series of novels titled\, “The Dressage Chronicles” as well as the novel “Betwixt the Stirrup and the Ground” and its sequel\, “Mercy Asked\, Mercy Found. She earned her USDF Bronze\, Silver\, and Gold rider medals on horses she trained herself. She graduated “with Distinction” from the USDF “L” program. She is a USDF certified Instructor/Trainer through fourth level. Although semi-retired\, she is lucky enough to still have horses in her daily life. \nSummary of Achievements:\nBronze\, Silver and Gold medals\nUSDF L Program graduate with Distinction\nUSDF Certified Instructor through 4th Level \nJennifer Grant\nGrant is a USDF Silver and Bronze Medalist\, L Graduate with Distinction. Kate has trained horses and riders through Grand Prix with regional and national success. Kate’s introduction to horses came early through her father\, Dr. James Fleming. An international clinician and competitor\, she travels extensively teaching the fundamentals of Palm Equestrian Academy throughout the country and abroad. \nPalm is an American Quarter Horse Association judge and holds her USEF R Western Dressage Judge’s License. She continues to compete in both the United States Dressage Federation and the Western Dressage Association of America. Palm’s competition record is second to none\, having earned 4 AQHA Superhorse titles\, over 30 AQHA World and Reserve Championships\, several AQHA European Championships\, more than a dozen WDAA World Championships\, 15 USDF All Breed Awards Champions and most recently the Dressage and Western Dressage Championships at the AQHA World Show. \nWith her partner of 16 years\, Rugged Lark\, Lynn was a special guest performer at the 1996 Olympics and was named 2000 AQHA Female Equestrian of the Year by the Women’s Sports Foundation. In 2003 she was the recipient of Equine Affaire’s Exceptional Equestrian Educator Award\, and she was titled Horsewoman of the year in 2007 by the American Quarter Horse Association. In 2010\, she presented at the World Equestrian Games as a clinician and entertainer and did the same at the 2017 FEI World Cup Finals in Omaha. In 2023 Lynn was named as an US Equestrian Medal of Honor recipient. \nLynn and her husband\, Cyril Pittion-Rossillon\, lead their annual European Journeys and she presents Winning Ways with Western Dressage alongside Marie-Frances Davis. Lynn is also an author who frequently contributes articles to leading equine publications along with an activity online community. DESCRIPTION:The Indiana Dressage Society is excited to host a Rider Biomechanics Clinic with Britta Pederson on June 24th & 25th at Far Away Farms in Pittsboro\, IN. \nThe clinic filled right away but we have one open spot after a rider injury\, so please email Linda Kimbell if you’d like to participate. \n \n \nAbout Britta Pederson\nBritta is a licensed physiotherapist from New Zealand as well as an international competitor in both dressage and eventing. Britta began in Pony Club\, then evented through the Advanced level\, before switching disciplines and working her way up to Grand Prix dressage. Ashton “Jeff” Moore is a USEF “S” dressage judge\, sporthorse breeding judge\, and has judged at the FEI World Equestrian Games. \nJeff is the head trainer\, owner and operator of Osierlea in San Juan Bautista\, CA. As a successful competitor\, Jeff earned USDF Bronze\, Silver and Gold medals. He has ridden seven horses at the Grand Prix level\, and was shortlisted for the Olympics. Jeff has trained more than 20 Grand Prix horses ridden by his students. \nJeff has a deep involvement in several key organizations and initiatives\, often times working together with the late Liz Searle. Jeff and Liz conceived and launched the USDF “L” Education Program. He also co-authored the USDF Glossary of Judging Terms. Jeff is the Co-Founder and former Executive Director of the Dutch Warmblood Studbook in North America (KWPN-NA). He is also co-founder and Technical Advisor of the American Vaulting Association. \nJeff is a student of some interesting characters\, including Col. Alois Podhajsky\, Director of the Spanish Riding School; Col. Waldemar Seunig\, a famous author of several seminal works about dressage; Count Herman Wrangel; and Baron Hans von Blixen-Finecke\, an Olympic gold medalist\, coach\, and Commandant of the Swedish Cavalry School at Stromsholm Castle.

Jeff has trained more than 20 Grand Prix horses ridden by his students. \nJeff has a deep involvement in several key organizations and initiatives\, often times working together with the late Liz Searle. Jeff and Liz conceived and launched the USDF “L” Education Program. He also co-authored the USDF Glossary of Judging Terms. Jeff is the Co-Founder and former Executive Director of the Dutch Warmblood Studbook in North America (KWPN-NA). He is also co-founder and Technical Advisor of the American Vaulting Association. \nJeff is a student of some interesting characters\, including Col. Alois Podhajsky\, Director of the Spanish Riding School; Col.
